Dengue Cases Surge in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Active Patients Reach 90
The dengue situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become alarming, with active cases reaching 90, according to the provincial health department. So far, 398 people have been infected, out of which 308 have recovered.
In the last 24 hours alone, 82 new cases were confirmed, with Charsadda reporting the highest number of 73 active patients. Other districts also reported fresh cases, including 2 in Abbottabad, 1 in Haripur, 3 in Nowshera and Mansehra, 2 in Lakki Marwat, and 1 each in Mardan and Peshawar. Swabi recorded 3 cases, while Tank reported 1 active case.
Health experts have urged the public to take preventive measures to control the spread of the virus.
