China has strongly objected to recent comments made by an Indian official regarding the future reincarnation of the Dalai Lama, labeling the issue as an internal affair of the Chinese state.

Chinese Ambassador to India, Xu Feihong, issued a firm statement on social media, asserting that Xizang (Tibet) is an inseparable part of China, and that Tibetan Buddhism has its roots within Chinese territory, specifically the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
