China Announces Visa-Free Entry for Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain

In a landmark diplomatic move, China has announced a visa-free entry policy for citizens of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain, effective from June 9, 2025, to June 8, 2026.
The announcement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning, who stated that holders of ordinary passports from these countries can now enter China without a visa and stay for up to 30 days. This move aligns with China’s broader goal to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties with Gulf nations.
“With this decision, all member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) are now covered under China’s visa-free regime,” said Mao, according to China Daily.
The decision is expected to boost tourism, trade, and investment flows between China and the Gulf countries, marking a significant shift in regional travel dynamics and strategic partnerships.
