Chicken Prices Decrease by Rs. 36 in Four Days

The price of chicken meat continues to fall. According to the official price list, chicken meat now costs Rs. 453 per kilogram after a further Rs. 15 reduction today, marking a total decrease of Rs. 36 in just four days.

The wholesale price of live broiler chicken has also dropped by Rs. 10, with the new wholesale rate set at Rs. 299 per kilogram and the retail rate at Rs. 313 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, egg prices continue to rise. Eggs saw an increase of Rs. 1 today, bringing their price to Rs. 350 per dozen, adding to the burden on consumers.
