Barrister Gohar Clarifies on KP Security Concerns, Bani Gala Auction, and Imran Khan’s Sons
Barrister Gohar Denies KP Operation Support, Refutes Bani Gala Auction Rumors, and Clarifies on Imran Khan’s Sons
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s provincial government does not support a military operation in the province, emphasizing that Imran Khan wanted issues resolved through dialogue rather than force.
Speaking on various matters, Gohar clarified that reports about the auction of the Bani Gala property were misleading. He said he had initially shared the news in a legal group but later NAB clarified that the property did not belong to Imran Khan.
Regarding Imran Khan’s sons, Gohar stressed that the party has never directly communicated with them, and any contact is handled privately by family members. “If they visit Pakistan, they will be welcomed warmly, but there’s no political involvement,” he added.
Gohar further mentioned that the Grand Alliance currently comprises six parties, but PTI has not formally joined it. Efforts were being made to include Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Jamaat-e-Islami in the alliance. He also noted that although nationwide protests had erupted, Imran Khan had instructed against a long march.
