Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s exclusion from the national T20I squad for the New Zealand series has sparked a strong reaction from his father.

Taking to Instagram, Babar’s father pointed out his son’s achievements, including his inclusion in the ICC T20I Team of the Year, questioning why he was still dropped. He also took a swipe at former cricketers, advising them to be careful with their words, as they might not be able to handle a response.

He urged cricket fans to review past performances of those who constantly criticize and suggested checking records on the PCB website.

Furthermore, he emphasized that as Babar’s first and last coach, mentor, and spokesperson, he had every right to speak up for his son. He expressed confidence that Babar would stage a strong comeback in the National T20 and PSL.
