Atta Tarar Criticizes PTI for Civil Disobedience Call and Journalist Attacks
Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar, on Tuesday, strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for its political strategies and civil disobedience call. Speaking to the media, Tarar said it would be more appropriate for PTI to boycott Israel rather than Pakistani products.
He appreciated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet for rejecting PTI’s call for civil disobedience, describing it as a commendable stance. He further accused PTI of working on a foreign agenda aimed at weakening Pakistan’s military and spreading anarchy in the country.
Tarar also highlighted PTI’s boycott of the All Party Conference (APC) on Palestine and expressed concern over their alleged attacks on journalists. He affirmed that strict action would be taken against those involved in targeting media personnel.
Regarding the registration of seminaries, Tarar stressed the need for resolving such matters in a way that is acceptable to all stakeholders.
The minister called for unity to counter the elements seeking to destabilize the nation.
