The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad heard the liquor and arms recovery case against KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan issued arrest warrants for Gandapur, ordering that he be arrested and produced before the court on September 17.

Initially, no representative appeared on his behalf, but later his lawyer Raja Zahoor ul Hassan requested the suspension of the arrest warrants. The lawyer argued that media coverage had already embarrassed his client, but the judge remarked that the warrants would only be cancelled if the accused appeared before the court.

The court rejected the request and maintained the arrest warrants, adjourning the hearing until September 17. The case was originally registered at Bara Kahu police station, naming the KP Chief Minister as an accused.
