Ali Amin Gandapur Vows to Continue Protests, Announces Compensation for Martyred Workers

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur addressed a press conference in Mansehra, emphasizing that the ongoing PTI protest will only end upon the directives of party founder Imran Khan.

Gandapur criticized the government for its alleged oppression of PTI workers, stating, “Our party has faced coercion. Our workers were beaten, and baseless cases have been registered against us.” Highlighting the violence during the recent protests, he revealed that several PTI workers were killed, and hundreds were injured.

The chief minister announced Rs10 million in financial aid for each family of the “martyred” workers and pledged to file FIRs against those responsible for the violence. He also disclosed personal threats, including an alleged abduction attempt and a failed assassination bid.

While reaffirming the party’s commitment to peaceful protests, Gandapur blamed the authorities for escalating violence. He declared, “This province knows how to claim its rights. Bullets and violence cannot enslave the nation.”
