Aleema Khan Claims: “People Like Sher Afzal Marwat Are Used and Abandoned by Agencies”

Outside the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court, PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, expressed joy over the approval of bail for detained youth but condemned the way they were arrested.

She stated that Imran Khan had said authorities could arrest his entire family, but he would never backtrack from his stance. Criticizing the judicial process, she questioned why Kulbhushan Yadav’s military trial had been delayed, while PTI workers like Hassan Niazi were denied even the right to appeal.

Responding to Sher Afzal Marwat’s allegation that her son runs overseas social media accounts, Aleema Khan remarked: “Such people are used by the establishment and agencies, and once abandoned, no one cares for them. That’s why they end up like this.” She added that Marwat had already been expelled by Imran Khan and was free to join another party.
