AirSial to Expand Fleet with Two New A320 Aircraft for International Operations

AirSial is gearing up to enhance its fleet by adding two new Airbus A320 aircraft early next year. These aircraft, each with a seating capacity of 180 passengers, will pave the way for the airline’s international operations from Pakistan to a range of countries. With these additions, the fleet size of AirSial will increase to seven aircraft.

The official announcement was made during a ceremony held at Al Nafoorah – Jumeirah Al Qasr, Dubai. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Executive Vice President Airline Leasing & Sales BOC Aviation Alban Cruiziat, Chairman AirSial Fazal Jilani, Vice Chairman AirSial Muhammad Umer Mir, and COO AirSial Tariq Amim.

AirSial, launched by the business community of Sialkot on December 9, 2020, received permission to operate international flights on seven routes, including destinations like China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait. The airline officially commenced its international flight operations on December 31, 2021, with its first chartered flight from Lahore to Dubai.

The airline began its journey with domestic flight services on December 25, 2020, using Airbus A320-200 aircraft to connect major cities like Karachi and Islamabad. Initially, AirSial operated with a fleet of three A320-200 planes.
