Aima Baig Addresses Health Controversy, Clarifies Condition and Thanks Fans

Pakistani pop sensation Aima Baig has addressed concerns regarding her recent hospitalization, clarifying that she did not suffer a heart attack as initially feared. In a statement shared via her Instagram, Baig explained that her health issues were due to high blood pressure exacerbated by extreme exhaustion and neglect.

Earlier this week, Baig posted a photo from what appeared to be a hospital room, captioning it with references to a “mini heart attack” caused by intense travel schedules, sleepless nights, and back-to-back performances. This sparked considerable worry among her fans.

On Friday, Baig took to social media to reassure her followers and express her gratitude for their support. In a heartfelt message, she detailed her condition, revealing that her blood pressure had soared from 88 to 200 due to severe exhaustion, dehydration, and lack of proper nutrition. She emphasized that her condition was an emergency but not a heart attack.

“I’m extremely overwhelmed by everybody’s concern about my health,” Baig wrote. “I had no idea that there are so many people who love and care so much. My respect and love for all of you just crossed all levels.”

Baig acknowledged her negligence in managing her health amid a demanding schedule, stating that the experience served as a reminder of the importance of self-care. “We all must take care of ourselves,” she urged.

She also praised the medical staff who treated her and expressed relief at her recovery. “Alhamdulillah, I am now fully recovered and my body has never felt this energized or nourished in a very long time,” she added.
