A Dream Fulfilled, Abhishek Bachchan Wins His First Best Actor Filmfare Award After 25 Years

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has finally won his first-ever Best Actor Filmfare Award after 25 years in the film industry.
At the 70th Filmfare Awards 2025, he received the honour for his powerful performance in “I Want To Talk.”

Overwhelmed with emotion, Abhishek’s eyes welled up as he took the stage.
He said,

“It has always been my dream to receive this award in front of my family.”

Abhishek dedicated his success to his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya, saying:

“Aishwarya and Aaradhya, thank you for allowing me to chase my dreams. Your sacrifices are the reason I stand here today.”

He further dedicated the award to his father Amitabh Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya, calling them his “two heroes.”

Abhishek expressed gratitude to all directors and producers who trusted him over the years, saying,

“The journey was never easy, but it has been worth every moment.”
