A Fraudulent Intent Can Only Betray Itself
Allah created this universe with the balance of two strong forces, countering each other. The good balancing the evil, optimist for the pessimist, light for the dark, patriotic and traitor. Blessed are those who find their righteous path from the darkness by themselves and lit up the entire world by burning themselves down by the light of insight. The country called Pakistan emerged on the map of the world due to such souls who gave their insight to the people living in the dark. These gems were the youngsters of their time, from Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar, and MaulanaAbdurRabNishtar and too many others, who fought voluntarily. It was the commitment, passion and altruistic efforts of our leaders which distorted this dream into a much anticipated reality.
The fanatical fire which Iqbal had ignited over the subcontinent with his poetry and the philosophical concepts, later originated into Pakistan with the selfless efforts of Quaid-e-Azam. Their persistent commitment to the cause to have an independent land we can call home became the ground reality with the impassioned devoted efforts. Loyalty and commitment of Jinnah was recognized even by his enemies. As an ex US President Harry S. Truman remarked about Quaid-e-Azam:
“Quaid e Azam was the originator of the dream that became Pakistan, architect of the State and father of the world’s largest Muslim nation. Mr. Jinnah was the recipient of devotion and loyalty seldom accord to any man.”
Jinnah’s death caused a stirring environment for the forces working against the new born country. That was the time when external factors started playing its role in destabilizing Pakistan with their hideous motives. Traitors in form of deceits started making space for external forces and as a result severe national dilemmas Pakistan faced. The biggest threat Pakistan has ever have come across is the misguided youth. The chaotic and radically misguided youth with the history of Pakistan, is the easiest prey in the hands of the enemies.
Similar situation conjured from the neglected state of being of FATA, north Baluchistan and several linked areas of KP, using the youth, urging them to stand against the State for their rights, facilities to community, safe homes and no army intervention in the areas in the name of security risks as check posts. Youth being easiest to manipulate, with the power to unite against the odd, were provoked for their issues from the government and the army.
Recent example of Pashtun youth got visualized by one of the movement claiming to protest for the rights of people of tribal areas. This movement known as Pashtuns Tahafuz Movement (PTM) emerged from the tribal areas of KP (previously known as FATA) under the leadership of passionate young man Manzoor Ahmed Pashteen. The proposed demands by the PTM was honoring their Human Rights, cessation of disappearances and to investigate extrajudicial killing of Pashtuns, removal of land mines from tribal areas and other abuses of power by state forces. It allegedly proposed that Pashtuns are humiliated at army check posts; PTM leaders demanded the formation of a ‘truth and reconciliation commission’ to thoroughly look into the extra-judicial killings and missing persons.
Their demands seemed quite legitimate but the way these demands were been propagated among the youth was illegitimate. Youth was badly manipulated through these demands. It was that moment when this movement started getting moral support from Afghanistan and Indian leadership; the PTM leaders turned down their main agendas and starting chanting openly against the army and the state. PTM started using the sympathizing support of people all around the country, ambushing all their genuine demands and enticing the people against state and army affairs.
Pakistan and its adjacent areas to the Afghanistan border from KP and north Baluchistan had the adverse effects of the war affairs going on there and unstable political conditions to the state-neglected areas of the FATA and Baluchistan. These areas and the lives of inhabitants have had the lifelong impact of the war of terror which they had to experience. Due to the war on terror, people of tribal areas have been deserted backwards from any politically, socially, and educationally at national level accomplishments. This has a great lasting impact aggregately on the lives of people.
Today, even after getting hold on to the terrorism in these areas and bringing subdue a normal life under safe conditions with the help of indefatigable efforts of the Pakistan Army. In this critical state of affairs, movements like PTM, whose foremost aim to getting benefited by pretexting the life issues of the tribal people, and protesting, provoking the nation against the state and army affairs, is the open defiance warning from them.
Pakistan government and the Pak Army have always been constituted and foremost prioritized to protect its nation and provide them with all the life’s necessities. Meanwhile, PTM have tried their best to work and to put trust in the state enemies with their own weakness. Under constitution of Pakistan, it is everybody’s right to speak up for the demands they want to be fulfilled by the state but within certain protocols which should be considered equally important to be followed. These protocols include owning your state, to respect your state from which you’re asking for your right.
Pointing fingers out to the institutions and state from which you are expecting your demands to be fulfilled is the act of immorality and defamation to the whole nation. No one in the right moral state of being, when being a threat to the national security and the cause of insurgency in the country, can expect from the state to certify their demands on conditions. Consequences to the matter of chanting hate slogans, if the hate movement consistently to be arouse among the people, will have the life lesson admonition and reproach to the rebellions and their supporters. How can one expect from the state to ensure your rights when you yourselves are defaming your state institutions by chanting hate slogans among the masses?
We, as a true Pakistani still endorses the demands of Pashtun people but the attitude with which they want to take their rights is serving a great threat to national security and spreading anarchy in the young minds. Claiming your rights, seeking a justice is the prime right of every Pakistani by constitution, but procedural treatment to the cause of matter must be the fundamental step towards the table talk with the state authorities. The non-turbulent and peaceful demanding protest can always be a help to the people with their needs to be fulfilled and mark the example of being the responsible and ethical citizenship. The state should also constructively engage with the disgruntled PTM leaders by addressing their genuine concerns, which eventually have been contended as fits.
At the same time, PTM leaders should not be allowed to unnecessarily malign and slander the state institutions in the name of protecting the Pashtuns’ rights. Youth, as being the majority of the Pakistan must take the responsibility to be the chosen one to lead from the front. They must also be aware of all these hidden agenda from the enemies, which frame your weakness, your desires and lethal needs and use them for their own interests. Future of Pakistan relies within us and if we, as a nation gets dispersed, get dismantle then there would be no future of this country. We have a great book Quran to take guide from and we have great examples in the form of Quaid-e-Azam and AllamaIqbal.
Today, the youth needs to comprehend the lessons of Quran, the message what is possess, the progressive involvement of our profound and prodigious leaders in the philosophies of life and the loyalty to your homeland. We, Youth, need to be the commanding rein of the constitutional legacy which our Quaid has left for us to. To protect this homeland from the inner threats, traitors and external forces, the country demands us now to stand united, and make it our life’s a vow to make ourselves committed to this sacred soil of the martyrs, to save it from every possible intimidations, terrorizations and coercions from the enemies.
While not only redeeming the country from the enemies is enough but killing off the betrayal to the prototypical standards, delivering the example to the world is now the obligatory thing to be followed in the current circumstances, so the movements like PTM must have the idea to the consequences in order to indulge themselves in state against affairs.
