Another man Tests Positive for Congo Virus in Quetta

In Quetta, a 55-year-old man has been confirmed to have contracted Congo fever, as reported by Dunya News. The patient, whose blood sample was tested at Fatima Jinnah Institute, was admitted after showing symptoms consistent with the virus. The diagnosis was confirmed, and he is now being treated in an isolation ward.
The Congo virus, known for its severe and sometimes fatal symptoms, has previously caused significant concern in the region. Last year, Quetta experienced several cases, with some resulting in death.
Health experts are advising individuals who handle livestock to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of this dangerous fever. The recommendations include wearing protective clothing and practicing good hygiene.
As the virus continues to pose a threat, local health authorities are on high alert to manage and contain the situation effectively.
