23-Year-Old Girl Killed in Lahore Over Property Dispute

A 23-year-old girl named Laiba was tragically shot dead in her home during a firing incident executed by her cousins in Lahore’s Green Town area on Wednesday. The incident arose from an ongoing property dispute.

According to Green Town Police, the victim’s cousins, Tausif, Hafeez, and Bilal, started firing due to a property disagreement with Laiba’s uncle, Abid. In the violent altercation, Laiba’s father, Safdar, and her mother were also injured. The injured parents were promptly transported to a hospital where they are currently receiving medical assistance. Police have confirmed that their condition is under control.

Laiba’s body has been moved to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination. Authorities have collected evidence from the crime scene and are actively searching for the accused.
