23 Passengers from Punjab Killed by Terrorists in Balochistan’s Musa Khel
In a shocking act of terrorism, 23 passengers from Punjab were killed in a brutal attack by terrorists in the Musa Khel district of Balochistan. The attack took place on the national highway in the Rarasham area of Tingri tehsil, approximately 72 kilometers from the district center.
According to initial reports, the terrorists stopped a convoy of vehicles, including a passenger bus, traveling from Punjab. The attackers forcibly offloaded the passengers, checked their National Identity Cards (NICs), and then executed them on the spot. After the massacre, the terrorists set several vehicles ablaze.
Local authorities, including a heavy contingent of Levies and police, rushed to the scene immediately after the incident. Balochistan Levies officials confirmed that the bodies of the victims have been moved to a nearby hospital for identification and postmortem.
This tragic incident follows a familiar pattern of targeted attacks in Balochistan, where militants have previously targeted laborers and other civilians. The Superintendent of Police overseeing the investigation stated that this was a premeditated attack aimed at creating fear and instability in the region.
The incident has sparked outrage across the country, with many calling for swift justice for the victims and stronger measures to combat terrorism in the region. The Prime Minister and other political leaders have condemned the attack, expressing their condolences to the families of the victims and vowing to bring the perpetrators to justice.
