The Sindh government has officially increased the maximum age limit for government jobs by five years, raising it from 28 to 33 years. This decision comes after the Sindh Cabinet’s approval, and a notification has been issued to implement the change.

According to the notification, the new age limit will apply to all government departments except police and other law enforcement agencies. The decision will be effective from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026.

The move is expected to provide relief to thousands of job seekers who previously faced difficulties due to age restrictions. Employment analysts see this as a positive step toward increasing job opportunities in Sindh.
