Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Senator Shibli Faraz voiced his concerns about the political sidelining of the country’s largest party, warning that Pakistan cannot afford further crises. Speaking at a press conference alongside fellow PTI leaders, Faraz criticized the current state of Parliament, calling it a “fish market” where key discussions on national security and governance are being stifled.

Faraz accused the government of intentionally disrupting quorum during debates on crucial issues, claiming that a “fake government” was given power through bogus votes. He expressed frustration with the Parliament’s weakening as an institution, stating that meaningful discourse is being suppressed.

“The Judiciary and Parliament are being controlled,” said Faraz, adding that the current government’s legislation does not serve public interests. He also emphasized that PTI was working within constitutional and legal frameworks to maintain a peaceful political movement, despite facing oppression from the government. Faraz concluded by questioning how the country’s affairs could be managed without constructive political dialogue, urging for more open discussions in the political arena.
