Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Vows to Prioritize Safety for Civilians and Security Forces

In a significant move towards peace, a grand jirga was held in Peshawar under the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. The jirga was attended by a broad spectrum of political figures, including Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Governor Faisal Karim Kundi. Various political leaders from KP also participated in the meeting, including Aimal Wali, Professor Ibrahim, Mohsin Dawar, and others.

Addressing the jirga, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stressed the importance of collective efforts towards maintaining peace, stating, “The protection of life and property of both citizens and security personnel is our responsibility and top priority.” He further emphasized that peaceful dialogue, rather than conflict, is the key to resolving issues. “We hope this jirga will pave the way for a peaceful solution to the problem,” he added.

The jirga was convened to bring together different political leaders to discuss and devise a strategy for sustainable peace in the region. The CM reiterated that the suggestions and opinions of all political leaders present at the jirga will be respected and considered in the decision-making process.
