Interior Minister Announces Rs500 Million for National Police Academy
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced a substantial grant of Rs500 million for the National Police Academy during the passing-out parade held in Islamabad on Friday. Addressing the graduating officers, Naqvi highlighted the police’s critical role in serving the public and maintaining dignity in their duties.
The minister pledged to elevate the National Police Academy to international standards by equipping it with state-of-the-art facilities. He expressed his vision of making the academy comparable to the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, a benchmark for excellence in training.
Naqvi revealed that a special task force had been formed to expedite the transformation. Additionally, he promised the deployment of professional and highly qualified officers to the academy, who will receive special allowances.
The passing-out parade marked a milestone for the newly trained officers, who were congratulated by the interior minister for their achievements.
