Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a major decline on Thursday, following global market trends. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs3,000, settling at Rs304,000, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs2,571 to Rs260,603.
The international market also saw a notable dip, with gold prices decreasing by $28 on Wednesday, bringing the rate to $2,893 per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs3,369 per tola in the local market.
Experts predict further fluctuations in gold prices due to global economic uncertainty. The key question for investors remains—should they buy now, or will prices decline even further?
