Prince Harry and six other high-profile claimants have lost their privacy lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited, the publisher of the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday, in the London High Court.
The claimants alleged that the newspaper group unlawfully obtained private information between 1990 and 2018 through illegal methods, including phone and voicemail access, covert surveillance, and attempts to obtain confidential medical and financial records.
The group of claimants included Sir Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, Sadie Frost, David Furnish, Sir Simon Hughes, and Baroness Doreen Lawrence.
Associated Newspapers denied all allegations, and the court ruled in the publisher's favor.
Prince Harry has previously won legal claims against the Mirror Group over unlawful information gathering, while the publisher of The Sun also apologized and offered compensation in a separate case last year.
