CM Maryam Nawaz Emphasizes Public Safety and Cleanliness in Multan Division
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered effective measures to curb anti-social elements and safeguard citizens’ lives and property. During a high-level meeting, detailed briefings were presented on the law and order situation and administrative matters in Multan Division.
She was informed of significant progress in the “Suthra Punjab” campaign, with sanitation outsourcing completed in 14 tehsils and ongoing processes in six more. The CM lauded the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Multan for their commendable efforts.
Maryam Nawaz directed officials to visit rural areas personally to oversee cleanliness arrangements and address incidents of dog bites. She also instructed robust measures to protect children from such incidents.
Additionally, she noted a decline in dengue cases and appreciated anti-smog campaign actions, which led to the demolition of 229 brick kilns violating SOPs and fines worth Rs. 4.4 million imposed.
The CM reaffirmed her commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring effective governance in Multan Division.
